[ the human egregores ]

[ the machine ]

as you likely already know there are many planes upon which to cast your vessel, each layered upon another like a spherical cake. in this way, they occupy the same area of effect, the same localized space, and act as filters through which to cycle, ascending or descending according to your purpose. these layers are shown in figure 1, though i want to clarify that this is by no means a perfect or exhaustive model, and is used most often to explain spellwork theory. this is at least in part why i’ve chosen this particular paradigm.

while this representation is presented in a linear fashion, it is critical to recognize that progression itself is not linear, and the intersection of these planes is far more like a set of venn diagrams, as imperfectly represented in figure 2. nevertheless, this will function as our baseline understanding of the interplay between the various filters.

as it may become apparent, our primary frame of reference – our focal point – is physical. we of course operate on the mental, emotional, and spiritual domains, but our bodies form for us a vessel that is defaultly anchored to this plane. all other planes intersect with it, and all are accessible by it. this is how we navigate in the astral, commune with the divine, and accept psycho-sensory input.

using the astral as our primary hub and point of contact for the other realms, we can begin to shift our framework towards another comparable metaphor: computing. like all planes, the astral acts as conceptual software for the concrete hardware of the physical realm, and it is upon this axiom that much of our work is already performed. thus, it is critical that we continue to consider this dual-non-dual (dnd) approach as we progress.

at the intersection of both astral and physical lies the liminal space, the in-between. in fact, all planes are bordered by the liminal, and this provides our access point – this is the basis of magic itself. the liminal network is the [console] through which we program & reprogram our [machine].

[ the goal ]

to review, our primary goal is to weaken & eliminate the [unnamed egregore] actively contributing to the collapse of human civilization due to the accelerated pace of its feeding cycle. having grown up alongside humanity, this egregore comprises such global-conceptual frameworks as [capitalism], [fascism], & [fundamentalism], each acting as its own entity and exerting influence by wielding [racism], [misogyny], & [queerphobia] as weapons of oppression. this is by no means an exhaustive list.

this [egregore] is perceivable by not only its deeds & affects, but by its whitespace – the anti-memetic shielding behind which it seeks to expand, until its gluttony is satiated with the strenuous outpouring of our labor & resource. an entity such as this has grown fat off of its tethers, and as such will not release its meal with grinning jaws.

further, we know that to tangle with such a being lightly is to risk becoming subject to its cycles, further buried under the weight of capitalist bureaucracy & government scrutiny. this extends beyond us – our friends, our families, our tethers; all put at risk with a single misstep. levity has no home past this point. it’s time to get serious.

so far our course of action has largely consisted of “make big gun go boom,” and although this line of thought generates numerous astral-conceptual strategies, it is only one component of our machine. further consideration shows that neglecting physical strategy will lead to a deeply ineffective effort and potential loss of personnel; not necessarily through casualties of body but casualties of mind & spirit.

thus, i believe it is critical that we incorporate a concerted & continued propaganda effort, in order to weaken the [egregore] and shift the tide of public opinion, collective consciousness, & consensus reality. this campaign should be carried out largely in the physical, with astral components as necessary. this is not a war of angels & demons, but of human rebellion.

no one will save us but us.

[ the approach ]

the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in love for the wrecking of strongholds. we are not a collective of human beings but of hearts, minds, and souls. so too is every being on this earth.

i propose a [soul]-to-[soul] approach; a pilot dedicating their entire focused effort into deprogramming one person, one heart, one [soul]. once deprogrammed, as marked by specific target metrics within the [soul], the pilot filters them into the broader propaganda unit to begin the cycle anew. they deprogram [souls] which deprogram [souls] which deprogram [souls], leading to a shift in the cultural undercurrent. this shift denotes a trend towards [communal], [egalitarian], [sustainable], & [interpersonal] sentiment overall, and will herald an adjustment of power within the liminal network as a whole.

the first phase will be the creation of an organized space, a dedicated home for the project to grow. phase two is the generation of training programs and deprogramming materials, as well as media resources for the recruitment efforts. phase three is outreach, gathering support & volunteers from communities that are already heavily aligned with our goals and purposes, at least across most metrics. finally, phase four is the execution of our [soul]-to-[soul] initiative, which will be followed with sets of metrics analysis & micro-adjustments.

this campaign will be carried out in discord adjacent the astral.labs. it will have its own structure, its own goals & paradigms, and will be growing & evolving alongside us. this is a long term project, so buckle up- there’s no quick solutions here. if we wanna fight big we have to think big, and that means considering [longevity], [sustainability], [efficacy], and [executability]. i truly believe that if we can pull this off, we will have an organization that can win the hearts and minds of the people with ease, acting as a mycorrhizal network for all of humankind in perpetuity.

[ the preparation ]

what does this mean in the [right now]? what can we be doing [today]? well that’s an awful big question, with some awfully big answers.

step one is education, and perhaps more critically, re-education; we have a lot of ground to cover in order to get everyone on the same page. we’ll be distributing an ad-hoc training program to get up to speed and creating a bootstrapper ensuring that future pilots will be able to hit the ground running.

a new debriefing channel has been created to house your thoughts and research notes. each of you will create a thread that will act as your personal journal, and the chat will function as a discussion board. treat this homework seriously; it has big implications. if you can’t do the work here, you’ll be drowning by the time we kick off. this is the great filter everyone; if you wanna prove yourselves, this is the time & forum with which to do so.
